2023 is a critical year for Nu Delta. The house is $300,000 in debt. The boiler room blew and required a $150,000 rebuild in the middle of the winter. The roof deck is in disrepair and requires an upgrade before the city will deem it legal to hold people. The railing on the inner stairway needs to b replaced. Rush is coming up, and the house needs $25,000 to cover events.
To make matters worse, membership numbers have struggled since COVID, to the point where there aren't enough brothers to cover rent. In the worst-case scenario, we'll need to sell the house in two years. The situation is dire.
This year we need all hands on deck — brothers, frieNDs of the house, and alumni — to help pitch in and save Nu Delta.
Funds raised this year will be used to help ensure we have a productive work week followed by an amazing rush, boost membership, and help revive the house back to self-sustainable levels. Thank you for helping to keep Nu Delta alive and thriving. We really need your help!
Live Forever Inside Nu Delta
Every year, the composite photos of past brothers of Nu Delta creep one spot higher on the staircase, until they eventually disappear from sight forever.
Are you part of the class of 2010 or earlier? Then your photos are either already gone, or will fall off in the the next few years… unless you donate.
We'll be putting together a special composite of the top 50 alumni donors each year, and keeping it alive at the top of the staircase, as a way to say thank you to the people helping to keep the house alive. This is your opportunity to live forever inside Nu Delta, and to always have your name and face present when you come to visit the house!

Class of 1956. The house provided a welcoming atmosphere for me, a Freshman mechanical engineering student who was totally unprepared for the challenging academic environment. I greatly value my four years there, the friendships I made, the opportunity to experience the wonderful culture of Boston, and the fact that I successfully graduated. Interestingly, and with no involvement on my part, my son is now a tenured professor in the Political Science department.
